I just found this amazing Twitter tool that I wanted to share with everyone.  It is called TweetFunnel. At the present time TweetFunnel is in public Beta, which means that anyone can sign up for FREE.

The concept behind TweetFunnel is that it is designed for anyone who is charged with controlling a brand in a Corporation or for anyone who would like to have more than one person contributing to a Twitter stream or multiple Twitter streams and wants total control.

Here is a quote from the from the website that highlights the main design features:

• “Does your company use a cumbersome process of emails, cutting and pasting to coordinate tweets from multiple team members?
• Are you excited about being on the forefront of social media, but a little afraid to relinquish all control of your corporate image?”

Managing Multiple Users for Each of Your Twitter Accounts

TweetFunnel helps you with more consistent and relevant content for your audience by offering three user types:

• Administrators – The Administrator is the person who sets up the TweetFunnel account and has the ultimate permissions to add users to the account.  In addition, the Administrator can review and publish tweets.
• Publishers – Publishers have the ability to review and publish tweets.
• Contributors – All Contributor Tweets will be placed in a queue for editorial review by either a publisher or an administrator.  Contributors’ tweets can be originated from a Web client or a mobile device.

Brand Monitoring and Alerts

Users can monitor brands based on a defined search criteria. Email alerts can be set up for specific users when specific brand or other mentions occur.  These alerts can be sent at defined intervals via email or SMS.

Cotag Activation per Twitter Account

This is a great way to sign your tweets when you’re co-tweeting through a shared account.  “CoTags are a new convention for using signatures when tweeting from a brand account. It’s really simple—just the carat (^) character followed by the person’s initials, or other identifying set of characters.”  This is similar to #Hashtag. The system uses cotags to identify the search criteria.  These cotags can be activated/deactivated per Twitter account.   You have the flexibility to have cotags set to On for a business account and Off for a personal account.

The Ability to Schedule Tweets for a Specific Time of Day

TweetFunnel allows tweets to be queued and then later published to Twitter at intervals during pre-defined times by the administrator or Publisher.

On Duty Flag

One cool feature is that users can flag themselves as on duty, so an editor knows that a specific user is available to receive an assigned tweet.

Assign Functionality

There may be times that a tweet will come through that you do not know the answer to.  If this happens, you can Assign the tweet to who you know that may have the answer and add notes about why you want them to answer.  Once you have completed the assignment, TweetFunnel will send an email to the person to whom you have assigned the tweet notifying them that they need to take action.

TweetFunnel can Track Your URL clicks

TweetFunnel is integrated with the Bit.ly and BudURL to shorten the URL automatically and then track your URL with the Bit.ly or BudURL account.

I have only outlined some basic functionality of TweetFunnel.  You will have to dig into the program to understand the entire system and how it work.  There are several nice Tutorials available on the website.
