Block Twitter Spam with TweetBlocker
Last week by suggestion from our good twitter pal Alexi, we tweeted out the “Double Barrel Super Soakers”, to help fend off those that choose to spam on Twitter. Now you can arm yourself with TweetBlocker too.

TweetBlocker allows you to check for any twitter users spam grade. Grades are just like grade school, A-F. A being you are clean and F indicating that you may be a “spammer”.
Additionally, you can get a personal spam report which displays a detailed ranking of all the people you follow on twitter. You can easily block twitter users you think are spammers. (TweetBlocker uses twitter oAuth for athentication)
TweetBlocker also provides an API for application developers to retrieve a twitter users grade as well as report a user as spammer.

Interesting you guys get a “C” grade when I entered both of your Twitter names.
That means we have room to improve according to that grading system.

Well, I started it up about 20 min ago and it’s still loading. Guess it takes a while if you have a lot of followers? Can’t wait to use it though. I can see already that my grade is A+ so that’s awesome.

I’m an “A+”. Sweet! I just blocked all of the “F” grade followers but now I have an issue? After clicking the block button, all of the grades have turned into this brown weird looking block over all avatars and grades and is not allowing me to see any of the pictures or grades. What gives?
Other than that – it seems like this Twitterblocker is a very cool and useful application.
